The Institute has many projects and activities but over the years the following projects have become part of our identity and have steady annual activities.

Albanian Algebraic Geometry Group

Albanian Algebraic Geometry Group (AAGG ose A^2G^2) është një grup pune me matematikanë shqiptarë në fushën e gjeometrisë algjebrike, dhe aplikimeve të saj në fusha të tjera si teoria e numrave, sipërfaqet e Rimanit, kriptografia eliptike dhe hipereliptike, fizikës matematike, etj.

Grupi ka si synim nxitjen e kerkimit shkencor ne fushen e gjeometrise algjebrike, teorise se numrave, gjeometrine arithmetike, etj.

Cybersecurity and Cryptography

Our working group in cryptography is mostly interested in Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Hyperelliptic Curve Cryptography (HCC). It is a special interest to us post-quantum cryptography, isogeny-based cryptography, etc.

We have organized many conferences including two NATO Advanced Study Institutes, special sessions of the American Mathematical Society meetings, and have regular annual gatherings.

Mathematical Network for Southeastern Europe

A research network group of mathematical researchers throughout Southeastern Europe. Our goal is to increase collaboration among researchers from Southern Europe countries by joint conferences, workshops, applying for joint grants, etc. The groups has already applied for several grants and has close collaboration to groups in Sarajevo, Athens, Tirana, etc.

Albanian Mathematical Literature

Ky project synon botimin e literaturës bazë të matematikës në gjuhën Shqip me synimin e vetëm për nxitjen e kërkimit shkencor dhe nxitjen e talenteve të reja në matematikë. Projekti synon të krijojë kushtë të përshtatshme për zhvillimin e matematikës shqiptare nëpermjet kerkimit shkencor.
